Eye Examination

The most important part of the service!

Within everyday life we all take a lot for granted which includes our eyesight, one of the main senses.

When you think at least once a day you do one or all of the following everyday of our lives.

  • DRIVE
  • READING
  • COMPUTERS
  • WATCH TV
  • OR JUST WALKING DOWN A STREET

YET – a number of us don’t have regular eye tests.

Regular eye exams by Mrs Maw are important because as soon as a vision problem is detected we can then act on it and the greater the chance of successful treatment. The eye examination also covers all aspects of your ocular health.

Ophthalmoscopy then examines your eye in detail, which assesses its health and can also detect all the following medical problems.

  • DIABETES
  • GLAUCOMA
  • BLOOD PRESSURE
  • CATARACTS

If referral to a medical practitioner is needed this will be done directly.

Why not make it part of your regular health regime.

Regular eye tests should be every two years, unless for medical reasons you need them more frequently. All NHS and PRIVATE examinations undertaken, just ring us to explain about exemptions from paying and our staff will answer any questions you may have.
